The Jack by Blue Energy
Formerly an Italjet concept scooter, what we have here is called the 'Jack' from Blue Energy. It's an innovative electric-powered trike, designed by Massimo Tartarini and Massimo Zaniboni in Italy. Spot the Dragster handlebars. What sets this scooter apart from other scooters of this kind, apart from the fact this one has three wheels, is the steering which is very similar to the Italjet Scooop, i.e. the trike leans when you steer. The Jack has a top speed of 25km/h (15.5mph) and the battery has a range of 25km (15.5 miles) from fully charged.
Last year 1500 units of the funky, eco-friendly three-wheeler were sold in Italy, and sales of the machine are currently going strong in Japan and Holland. As for the UK, Blue Energy are currently looking for an importer. So if there are any interested parties out there, please get in touch. Expected retail price is estimated to be around 1600 Euros (£1100).
